Honestly though, the Z gets all sorts of attention..... especially old ladies at service stations ?

Yesterday I added the splash guards. I really like them a lot although I know the rears are hit or miss for some ppl.

Today I filled up for the first time and I can tell the engine is responding differently, lots better. I'm sure the ding-dongs at the dealer filled up with cheap gas. Glad to have gotten that tank burned out and gone!

I added splash guards when I ordered as a what the F kinda thing - ended up being my favorite - makes the rear end. I know 93 octane is not easy to get in every state, I'm in NJ and its everywhere and all I've used in all my cars and I think it makes a difference. Car looks GREAT.

Small thing I added yesterday to protect plastic oil pan and make services easier. Easy to put in , looks good too. Think I will probably change oil pan also eventually to aluminum one offered.

Thanks! I ordered them and then looked at more pics and then was unsure. I installed them when they came in and I thought, hmmm...I love the fronts but I "like" the rears. But today and the more I look at it, I LOVE the rears...like you said, it makes the back end. Very happy.

That plate looks awesome. Jealous lol. I gotta get one for mine...

I have the same undershroud and I really like it. However in this pic it does not look like you have the spacers on the two bolts for the service panel?

Is there a reason for that?

It's nice because you put lock washers on the spacers so the bolts stay attached to the plate even when you remove it to do something like an oil change. Wont lose the bolts.

No - I figured I would take them off - wasn't thrilled with the whole spacer set up. Good eyes on picking that up.

I'll be honest, I debated using the spacers too because I didn't like the little bit of gap it leaves (obviously spacers leave gaps lol) but I liked the idea of not losing the bolts because that is absolutely something that would happen to me.

Windshield tint strip done today, had it done level with the bottom of the review mirror. It looks real low in pics but doesn't come down to my line of sight.

That harsh line between the two doesnt bother you? Would drive me a bit crazy. Need that old school GM gradient fade.

Nah, I guess I'm used to it from my previous cars...

I had the same thing done with my tint. To me, it made sense to line it up.

What %? I went all in and had 5% (I only drive it sometimes). I like to roll the dice...
Ya know, I'm not sure. It's pretty dark. I don't think it's 5% tho. The car was already tinted when I got it. My local dealer got it from another dealer so I don't have a way of knowing who tinted the car. They did a great job though. So I don't know if my guy just put what he thought matched the best or if he went with a certain % because it's a tint strip.
