I tell you what, if I didn't get mine for just a few $k below MSRP and they tried to ask for $10k over MSRP or something I would have been soured and never even gone back to the dealer and would have looked at other cars.

The covid "I have extra money might as well buy a fun sports car" bubble has popped. It's not just Z's. This summer a lot of sports cars have been sitting on lots and dropping in price. People already got what they wanted. The Z is not hard to find anymore either. For the money, unless you want a Z specifically, you have choices. I see tons of Mustangs and older Corvettes driving around where I live but American cars are more popular here.

Rt 46 Nissan was $1200 below MSRP on the website in April before I negotiated. (I ended up $2200 below MSRP, but they were sleazy car dealer types). Other local Nissan Dealers (Rt 17, Hilltop) were $5k and $7500 over MSRP because, "That's what we get for them".

I didn't tell them they were on crack, because I didn't want them to pull something.

I wanted red, but impossible to find. Black was second choice, because I enjoy washing and seeing spiderwebs. Yeah, 5k, 8k below MSRP would have been better, but I'm keeping this one for awhile, and I love it.

For what the Z really is underneath and inside, i.e. no new susp tech, no interior modernization, I'm still holding out for the Performance to be around $45K, definitely not worth $55K IMO. Waiting game continues....looking at deep discounts under MSRP later before elections, inventory exists at almost every local dealer.

How is there no interior modernization?

Think he means a LOT of the parts (Door handles, vents) are the same ones that were used on the 370.
That's true, but I don't understand why people, especially car reviewers, care so much. The important things (that people complained about being outdated) were updated - the digital gauge screen and infotainment screen. It now has a better digital instrument screen than the Supra, or the hideous new Mustang 'tablet stuck onto the dash top.'

Who cares that they reused the parking break, seat base, door cards, vents, stalks, switches etc? They work, right? How would the driving experience be improved by spending pointless money just redesigning plastic switches and trim pieces just so they look different? It just adds unnecessary development cost onto the retail price of the vehicle.

I think a lot of the complaints about reused 370Z parts are just people looking for something to talk and complain about, especially in reviews. There are legitimate complaints, such as the lack of an all new and lighter platform, the soft suspension and poor tyres in non-Nismos, and the high price. But carryover 370Z trim pieces is really a nothing burger IMO.

I'm starting to see low mileage Z' performance's in the mid-40s. In my estimation, given the information provided in this thread with new supply mounting up, these same cars should be in the low 40's high 30's in 3-4 months IMO as the 2025 MY begin to roll out.

Looks like it is down to $44,400
Damn. Someone is going to get a hell of a deal in a barely used new performance Z.
I got my 2025 red/black performance with auto for $40k with 300;miles, older woman bought it on 6/5 and traded it back on 6/21 for larger car as hubby had trouble entering/exiting. Ask the sales mgr if Inget thevfree mainenance care of 3 free oil changes within 2 years on the moroney, he said yes gors with vin butvInread only original owner. So see when I go for the oil change.

Was there ever a final number of 2024 Heritage editions made. I read someplace that 550 (55th anniversary) were made. Have no idea if that was factual. Mine was #5780 made 06/2024
