Oh hi! Got the keys earlier this evening.

The color was unexpected… it’s beautiful near dusk time of the day and the wheels… don’t get me started on them ? Can’t wait to see the car in the day time and so funny, the owner of the blue Z also picked up his car.

So nice to drive, haven’t really pushed it but I can sense it has some power. First RWD car for me and with this much power.

I’ll wait til I hit 2000kms to give it more beans. The steering is heavy but well and still getting my bearings on the size so where each corner is and wheels… doors are nice, easier than I thought getting in and out of, seat sort of curves forward in my upper back which I’m not use to… and I’m tall so the mirror on the right side is blocks a bit of the road when turning right.

I must get tinting as already my bag in the boot with my work gear gets hot, WA sun! No cargo cover yet, it’s still coming.

The speakers need upgrading and only sounds like music comes from the front ? I’ve toggled it to all but still, Benz speakers are really good compared.
Over all, half a day driving its noice.

I've noticed this as well. For a while I adjusted the fader biased to the rear, and also cranked up the bass, but I couldn't seem to find the sweet spot.

Do you have the super-plush trunk mat? I've got this, and I've been meaning to run an experiment by removing it to see if the mat muffles too much from the subwoofer.

I've just put some music on a usb and it seems better than spotify through android auto.
Audio via Bluetooth is better too.

The mat doesn't make any difference for the sub. The main issue is no spare for the sub to sit in and act as a secondary enclosure. Adding more sound deadening will help.

A little addition from RSW Japan, may not be everyone's liking but I like some carbon fiber details to lift the overall look of the cabin.

So far have the pod covers, door switch and door barrel covers.

Short answer: you can't

Long answer:
It might be possible via a dealer with the Consult 3 (or newer) software.

This is an option for the 370z that is disabled in our market, along with the windows up/down via the key fob. It is outlined in detail how to set it in the 370z repair manual.

There would be a good chance that the Z is the same.

Getting a dealer willing to go through the menu and see if it's there would be the hard part.

Called my dealership and asked about turning off ASE and ANC.

They weren't sure what to do and hadn't heard of turning it off :'(

Anyone have any home software they know of to connect?

I have an OBD CX+ plug for my Supra. Nissan also use OBD... but I'd need a suitable software. Anyone have any direction for me?

Worst comes to worst... the Z has 1500km on it now. I'll take it in for an oil change and ask the dealership to fix up ASE and ANC for me... but I'll have to find one in Brisbane who can help :(

I'd really like to DIY it if anyone knows of any sofrware though.

Not sure if this will be of help down under, but check out this thread.

It's the fake engine sound inside the car. But most importantly (for me), it's the noise cancelling.

I've just installed a 10" sub in my wife's Z and it buzzes the shit out of the car at low RPM. So need to disable the ANC.

Not sure if this will be of help down under, but check out this thread.
I sat on the shitter all morning reading that thread haha. But it's for a once off use (I'll never touch it again), so don't want to be purchasing any expensive software. Even for my Supra, it was about $100 aud in total for Bimmercode + OBD CX plug. And of course, happy to pay $100 to get some access to the Z's settings as well.
