Or have both :D
If I was just keeping one, it would 100% be the Supra though.
Congrats on your new Nismo mate. I drive my cars pretty regularly. To be honest, they aren't special enough to be garage queens.
I do have a new dual cab I *try* to do most of my driving in haha. But it's hard to...
It's the fake engine sound inside the car. But most importantly (for me), it's the noise cancelling.
I've just installed a 10" sub in my wife's Z and it buzzes the shit out of the car at low RPM. So need to disable the ANC.
I sat on the shitter all morning reading that thread haha. But it's...
Called my dealership and asked about turning off ASE and ANC.
They weren't sure what to do and hadn't heard of turning it off :'(
Anyone have any home software they know of to connect?
I have an OBD CX+ plug for my Supra. Nissan also use OBD... but I'd need a suitable software. Anyone have...
I drove my wife's Z around all day yesterday. Hoping to see another Z.
None :( When I think about if, I've probably only ever seen 1 other, ever.
I'm Brisbane, Australia.
Why lol?
👍 This
Yah, I'm thinking I don't want to bring the Z to the dealer unless I absolutely have to. Aussie did a recall notice and my wife's Z wasn't on the list. Hopefully we got away with it :D
I use this product:
https://autocaredirect.com.au/ionic-bond-10h-ceramic-coating-pure-grade-ceramic/
It's pretty new from this guy. But I used to use his older product, but this new one is so damn good.
Ceramic coated the Z today. Made a significant difference in looks on the Rosewood. The dark metallic gets really nice depth. I have 2 coats on the bonnet. And I topped it off with a quick run around the Z with hybrid solutions for the shine :D The car does have PPF on it, so that helps with the...
Hey man :D I'm on the waiting list still and not a "lucky one" yet hah.
Also, we waited from april 9. Closer to 6 months (I saw you have it as 4ish months). It might make others feel better haha.
Must haves for me as well.
The Supra is PPF'd and ceramic coated.
I get my Z back today from PPF and it gets coated on Saturday.
My shitty daily (Cannon Ute) is ceramic coated... wouldn't pay for PPF on that...
PPF (in Aussie anyway), is more expensive than respraying your car. So for me...
I'm not sure when they ran the auto but if it was 2021 or earlier, good chance it was on the 2 port (about 50whp less than the current 4 ports).
I don't think a Supra that costs double would do that well, sales wise. It would be as popular as the GTR, which is rare as it is. Toyota would have...
100%. Totally different engines. The main similarity, is the naming convention.
Also very true. The Z4 feels completely diffetent. I wouldn't want one, even if it was half the price. The Supra craps all over it. They don't feel related what-so-ever.
Everyone wanted the Supra to be an insanely...
Haha, that's awesome mate. Super jealous about the RS. Very cool.
Sucks you guys have to deal with paying over RRP. Dealerships can't charge more than RRP in Aussie. And we get *way* less cars than you guys. It's nornal for us to wait 12-24 months for the decent cars.
Thanks man. My inner JDM fanboi glasses are strong.
Previously, my misses had a TT (not an RS like yours). At the time, she was tossing up between the 370z and the TT (back in 2019). She went with the TT because it was "more pretty".
Now the Z has a new look, she really wanted the new Z...
I own both the Z (not Nismo) and the Supra. And the Supra is nuts compared to the Z. It goes proper ham. The Z kills it as a daily driver though. Way more livable.
As said above though... The auto Nismo vs the manual Supra and Dark Horse... damn... Come on Nissan.
Ours was a my23. Turns out, it's a Feb build... even though it's only just come off the boat.... nuts.
On a side note, we ordered some Vicrez mud flaps. Never heard of the brand before. I use ZL1 on my Supra, but they have nothing for the Z.
Ordered on Friday, fedex have it marked as "awaiting...
Hey mate, yeh hardwired for sure. Fuse box is to the right of the accelerator.
They are mini low profile fuses.
There was plenty of available fuse options to use. Just grab an electrical tester pen.
I ended up going with the top left column. The two 5amp fuses. The bottom one was accessory...
