What can you tell from this VIN?

So I got the VIN of my Z that I am purchasing soon.

From what I can tell, this is a Z model, made in Japan, and from the letter P that means it is a 2023 model right?

There is no way to find out the package (ie. Sports or Performance)

The confusing thing to me is, here in Dubai, they only have 1 package/model to choose for the Z and according to the Salesman, they only get the top model however, what is more confusing is, it has the 19inch Rays Forged wheels and the red brake calipers and the BOSE sound system and the rear decklid spoiler but in the specs sheet on their website, they mention it has an 8 inch infotainment screen not the 9 inch. I am puzzled because I thought the 9 inch screen is standard on the Performance model.

different for different regions. canada also only gets a 8 inch screen for performance package and judging from what you guys are getting they are only offering performance spec

This Z also seems to be a performance model with an 8-inch infotainment head unit. It sounds quite similar to yours. Perhaps you're receiving a similar configuration?

Also you've got the aluminum pedals, a performance feature in the US.

The one thing I don't see is info on the LSD, which is part of the performance spec in the US. Do you know if this car has it?

I didn't realize that but damn, I don't see LSD mentioned anywhere, this is such a weird config the dealership has chosen to go with

I was trying to see if I can find the 8 inch and 9 inch screen side by side to see the difference. I saw an ad for a locally posted Nissan Z for sale which I assume has the 8 inch screen, this is what I can tell....8 inch

• The 9-inch has right-angle buttons, the 8-invh has beveled buttons left and right.
• The 9-inch has larger,l knobs with a wide black face, 8-inch has smaller knobs with silver edge that wraps onto the face
