Would it be inappropriate to ask for a copy of his wife's positive preganancy test before bidding?

I always love it when a car goes for sale the day after “just found out my wife was pregnant.” Complete lie. Come on flipper, reach deeper into the Rolodex.

Completely appropriate. Just found out my wife is pregnant and in less than 24 hours already have my ride listed and stumbled across 150 photos in my album. We never even discussed future planning! She said go ahead and buy a two seater over MSRP. Sounds like a great plan. These stories are ridiculous. Wait a minute...maybe I need a new wife?
