My dealer was stoked to have one of the first ones to view…I personally think it was because they started taking orders before most dealers, and now have a huge backlog. Most likely It gives an opportunity to everyone who ordered to make sure they made the right decision, and if not pull out and move down the list ….but this is just my thoughts, no one has told me this
@jezzza this dealer had their crossover show in August, so done and dusted.

So this is one of the people I know who had theirs on order.

keep an eye on the import monster FB page to see this try on a bunch of wheels and exhausts over the coming weeks.

i found it funny that they said "this kinda crept up on us"

if they were on this forum, particularly this thread, they would have been twisted in knots waiting months and months for delivery like the rest of you...

They also have a rc-f Yaris GR and a few others.
This will be used as a demo car for parts.

Also had a non dealer buddy friend confirm Wednesday delivery for his.
So cars are 100% arriving this week.

For import monster it’s his business.
He orders every hot jdm car as he needs to demo parts.

the other guy is yes also getting a proto.

He is the one who had a VIN a few weeks back. July 21 order.

Anyone seen one in any of the Brisbane dealership yet?
I've got a pretty good feeling that the first dealership here to get one will be Caboolture (maybe early this coming week) and Caloundra (late this week).

There is also one bound for the Gold coast, but not sure if the actual dealership (or even if there is more than one).

Newstead won't have theirs this month. Not sure about southside, but probably the same. End of this month at earliest.

Due on the 13th of September? Given the timeline for myself, it's doubtful unfortunately. 13th of next month would be more likely ?

PSA: NRMA now have the Z listed to quote. Likely live for other insurers :)
looking at compare the market …budget direct is still the cheapest coming in at 988
But most of the big names haven’t chimed in yet. I’ll look to RAC when the time comes, for my Peugeot they were almost $500 cheaper than anyone else….some wouldn’t insure it full stop, and they were the only insurance company that permitted my son to drive it ( at 17/18), not that he drove it often, but always good for an emergency
That might have something to do with RAC being WA owned and there being no limited on p platers in our state as to what they can drive, but they were the only ones.
Hoping they will be reasonable again

Bloody hell, cheapest I can get is $2700, most won’t insure me because I’m under 30

Budget Direct actually comes in $120 more expensive than NRMA for me.
Suncorp came in a touch cheaper than NRMA though.

Gonna get a quote with Enthusiast (our Z32 is insured by them) and compare the level of coverage.

@Fontana - In my experience, Budget and Enthusiast won't insure high performance vehicles for people under 30.
Have you checked NRMA? Suncorp?
