I don't know about the quality but I like how Nissan put the screen in the dash and not just sticking up on top of the dash like every other car out there.

The newer Nissans have been getting good reviews for upgrading their material quality from previous generations, so the new Z interior should be very nice.
Sat in both Supra and Z in the NY auto show. I was expecting a nice BMW interior on the Supra but it turned out to be mediocre with a very dated look. The Z, I was expecting a cheap interior because it is a Nissan. I was completely wrong. There were a few cheap-looking plastic trim pieces but the rest were really nice and have a good quality feel to them.
On par? No. Good enough? Yes. Hell, people complained about the 370Z interior, but I don't have any issues with it at all. The new Z's interior is just a slightly better version of the 370Z's with a modern digital dash and infotainment screen.
As long as the new Z doesn't suffer from "sticky dash" issue, I'll be okay with it. I don't think the new Z will develop that problem as the dash is upholstered now.
