Well, I'm due for a new truck also. It seems the new Tundra and Nissan Z are going to be available at about the same time, although the Z's official release is in 2 days, and the Tundra is still being teased, but I bet the on-sale dates are pretty close, they're both considered MY2022.
It'll depend on if one of them has ADMs and one doesn't, I'll buy the one without ADMs first. I currently have an older Nissan Titan and a Q60. I have always owned a FS truck and a car. The truck is old and beat, but reliable, and the Q60 has lots of life left in it. I only have the funds for one vehicle, and the Tundra would be my most expensive vehicle purchase ever if I went through with it.
I'm not really cross-shopping the Z against anything else, I did see a 2021 Challenger 6MT ScatPack WB for $45K earlier this year, I actually went in to buy it, and the dealer put an invoice in front of me for $55K. There was a $10K ADM they never disclosed, and I walked out. That was just a whim, but I had the checkbook out and was gonna do it.
