found a deal and ordered a CAI. was going with AMS but found the AMS NISMO version cheaper….

I selected the free local pick-up. shipping would only have been ~$10 more.. didn‘t known you pay tax on shipping…

I guess all you AWE guys are well aware of this but I got a good chuckle at the cherry sucker and enjoyed it during the install!

Exhaust tip fit on passenger side is less than perfect but every time I had it perfect I would be rubbing on the cross brace. I can hear a vibration at idle so I'll need to get it back on the hoist to make some small adjustments. Regardless, I'm pretty happy with the AWE track exhaust! Between this exhaust and my open intakes the Z sounds great!

Twist the resonator can pipe as high as possible to prevent it from rattling on the black steel W-brace, then twist the longer rear section pipe as needed to properly align the tip. It's tedious...but you'll get there!

Very nice. Indeed, I was out in the Z yesterday, too. It was getting hot out by the afternoon but I didn’t care and dropped both windows down and enjoyed listening to the subtle music of the NISMO Catback.

Every time I get behind the wheel, I get a big grin and think about how much I love my Z.

Washed her today. Needed it badly, hasn't had a hand wash since probably October last year. I can see it needs another good detail, clay bar, wax, etc.

I love black chrome in general and i think awe did a good job with the tips.

maybe the black will help if i don’t get the alignment perfect - lol

Technically I did this last week, but installed a Tomei Single Exit titanium exhaust. Absolutely love the sound with the stock Y and downpipes.

Rosewood Metallic. The color that most people won't know existed in the future. I saw one at a dealer in Florida in 2023. rare to say the least.
