Still not tuning support for the transmission yet.Wondering if tunes are helping to solve some of the AT transmission shifting concerns?
Looking at EcuTek for my "24 Nismo.
Haven't launched yet as only 700 km on car. Good to know though. In regular driving so getting used to all three mode nuances, in both AT and M.The only thing I've noticed with the Nismo is that sometimes from a first gear launch 2nd gear doesn't hit or hook up as hard as rolling from 2nd. Any hit while rolling from 2nd on in sport + mode hits fast and hard, and is perfect.
Other than this, I have no issues with the transmission. I really don't pay it much attention when I'm driving around in normal standard mode.
Hurry up and get that thing broken in! As soon as mine hit 1200 miles the first thing I did was test the launch control. You will love it! Be careful though, you don't want such a great car in a ditch. Leave the traction control on lol!Haven't launched yet as only 700 km on car. Good to know though. Either not shifting when paddle pulled, mostly 2nd to 3rd, or hanging on too long, or Jerky. Mostly counter intuitive. Does not happen often, just now and again. Noticeably, where my R35 GTR was wayyyy better, in normal driving. What problems are you having with the transmission? Had\have 2 auto Z's with no problems.
My stock 24 Nismo had a 3-4 and 5-6 flare only when cold, manual or auto mode. I found that by driving in Sport mode it would eliminate the flare shifts completely.Wondering if tunes are helping to solve some of the AT transmission shifting concerns?

Hhmm...I'll take note of that. Though I have found Sport mode less quirky as well in general. My stock 24 Nismo had a 3-4 and 5-6 flare only when cold, manual or auto mode. I found that by driving in Sport mode it would eliminate the flare shifts completely.
Same situation with me. But sometimes the shifting takes a while. Some say it is because the tranny hasn't warmed up yet...The only thing I've noticed with the Nismo is that sometimes from a first gear launch 2nd gear doesn't hit or hook up as hard as rolling from 2nd.
