I understand the S-Mode button (where the seat heater buttons are on the Performance) is the rev matching, same as on the non-Nismo 6MT. But what is the D-Mode button on the new Nismo 6MT? On the 9AT it changes shift points and such which makes sense, but on the manual what does it do?

D mode also changes the engine timing. it does this on the auto NISMO in sport+ so they had to add it to the manual as the NISMO tune is only fully effective in sport+ itself.

D mode also changes the steering to a tighter feeling and relaxes VDC

I think the placements are backwards. True, taking place of the heated seat buttons is just about the only real estate left, but the D-mode button is used more often than the S-mode IMO, they should be switched. For me I don't even touch S-mode anymore, it's OFF.

Now that center blank button holder could be interesting for aftermarket ???
