Rear hatch helper spring

I was wondering if anyone else is having an issue with their hatch not opening all the way. Every time I hit the button in the car, the hatch opens part way and then I have to hit the outside button to open it all the way. I heard Nissan had a fix for that but I went to my local dealer and they didn't know anything about it' Is anyone else having the same issue and did Nissan solve it for you?

I bought these in case, I haven't installed them because I haven't had an issue. I rarely open the hatchback. The removal/install is only a hand twist ... I did remove one to see how hard it would be.

That is a problem since the 370Z came out. Nissan swears they fix it and until now is always the same. Z1 sells some improved ones.
