Armytrix sport version high-flow cat-pipe vs AMS performance red alpha full downpipe

I am really considering getting an Armytrix exhaust now for my Z, as I had one on my 370Z and loved it. Vivid Racing has a really good price on the exhaust and the DP. I just can't decide on what downpipe to get. I know I want either the Armytrix or the AMS. I like the AMS as it's a lot cheaper, but I don't know which one is better. Does anyone here know why the Armytrix one is almost 1k more than the AMS one? Is there a good reason to get the Armytrix over the AMS? Any help that anyone can offer would be appreciated.

Is there a reason you are going with full catted DP? Are you doing a turbo upgrade? I think the general consensus is that the LDP picks up a majority of the gains, and you can get a good quality resonated LDP for a few hundred bucks and install is super easy.

$2,444 for dp’s + $4,500 for the exhaust and zero info on these. do you know if these are 3” piping? Looks like the cat to tube is necked down a little. I think the ams looks fatter and cleaner lines.
Maybe the higher cost is the type of cat + the polished ss?

Just looking to get the best sound out of the exhaust. From my understanding the full downpipe is the way to go.

i installed the armytrix full catless turbo back exhaust

its great, but i think for power going with 3 inch would be better

but for basic bolt ons its perfect especially with valvev control

have you read the reviews for vivid racing? from what I understand they don't stock anything, just take orders and when they have enough they order from a supplier. I ordered a Seibon carbon fiber spoiler and then looked them up and thought I had made a mistake. 6-7 weeks to get delivery and from what I read if there is an issue they just won't reply to you in any way. saw less than 1 in 10 reviews that had anything good to say

I have not read their reviews. I have ordered from them in the past and had no issues. I am not in a hurry to get my parts anyway. I will be ordering from them as their black friday sale is the cheapest I have found for the exhaust. Thank you very much for the heads up. I will ask them in my email before I place the order how long it will take. When I receive it, I will up you on how long it took.

I read your post while I was at work on my phone. I just got home and compared them to the ASM ones. You are right. If you put both of those pictures together without labeling them, I couldn't tell you who made what one. You just saved me like 1700 dollars lol. Really appreciate it!
