The emblem is recessed, and there are two holes in the bumper cover. Bodywork is required to make it look like that pic.
Their aren't holes in the bumper. There are 2 small nipples in the bumper that poke into the emblem for alignment. It doesn't look horrible but I put mine back on

replaced the with JDM version as australian Z just has the Z as well. and got the red insert

So you guy relocate the "Z" and placed next to the Fairlady?

Here’s what I did with the big Z in the back after buying the Fairlady Z badge . I plan to buy the red inserts for both of them but I think the big Z looks better on the rear crossbar

Repositioning the Z to the interior is a brilliant idea! I’m going to do it too 😁
