2013 370z here. I have the exact same noise going into 1st, 2nd, gets quieter going into 3rd, and smoother into 4th, 5th, and 6th. I was thinking synchros too but thereās no grinding or other noises associated other than feeling tighter to get into 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and a louder audible clank like when someone is going into reverse.Yeah, that's weird. Its a very audible noise going into 2nd and even moreso 3rd. Not a grinding noise but for some reason the normal gear change noise seems significantly amplified. Not unlike some cars that have that loud click/clank when going into reverse (you know, the noise you can hear outside the car watching someone back out of your driveway, for instance.)
So you use Redline MT? Isn't that a different viscosity from the factory spec?
