Breaking News! Midnight Purple RZ34 has begun to arrive in Japan for the second half of their 2025 model year. This color is slated to be available later in the fall as a special edtion 2026 model for the US Market

I've been waiting to see more photos and real world photos since the 2025 model year was first announced. Wow - "Crème de la crème"

Interesting that it has a blue interior. I'm calling 2026 the final model year, we'll see

not sure if its final but there will be a special tribute edition in the fall that will be midnight purple

The lighting there doesn’t really show off the color IMO. Perhaps it shows better in the sun??

purple must be back in- lol - c8 and m2 both have purple options for 2025/6 too

May be sacrilege, but not feeling the green. Not sure f they called it Midnight Purple, but I think Nissan had a Z32 color that was more of a purple to blue shift, no green.

the Z32 this special edition will pay tribute to was a limited run actual midnight purple color code LP2

yeah this new color has been around for a few years on the GTR and infiniti Q50 and is color code DAP

they are just using the same name for nostalgia purposes

I think the Midnight Purple Z isn't going to be one that sees dealer discounts, unless they flood the market with them. I would be curious to know what their plan is for the ratio of MT and AT. I feel like the nostalgia/heritage aspect of it would shift heavily toward MT buyers.

Regardless, this is one of those colors you have to see in person to really judge. I assume I'd like it more in person than in pics. Based on the number of RZ34's I've seen in the wild (1) I may not see midnight purple for quite some time.

One of my favorites is Athens Blue (G35/G37...?). Not sure about that color on a Z, but it's a great shifty color in person.

No DAP. Same as the T spec GTR. The pics I posted in this thread are the first JDM deliveries as they started today


The US version is just doing this color with few decals as a special edition kind of like the heritage Z

Yeah they won't flood the market as the midnight purple is only available as a limited special edition not a normal color for any trim
