Just curious as to what others are seeing with diff oil temps. After some "spirited" driving today I noticed my diff temperature was at 138°f. Seems like it should be warmer than that??

well it depends on how well you are utilizing the differential as well, on the Nismo I see average 190-210 after very hard drives, on my Sport with the Nismo LSD I see upwards of 210-240F but again that's some pretty wack and crazy driving utilizing the differential aka power on turns hard brake to get stability from the 1.5 way etc.

This is the first RWD car I've owned that has a temp sensor for the diff. But yeah, the oil temps stay low unless I push it then they get up there. They come down pretty quick though.

As others say the temp depends on how hard the diff & limited slip clutches are working. Mine showed 220 ℉ after an hour of uphill mountain driving last summer. Cooling airflow under the Z's rear is probably just as bad as the 370Z which I've heard is terrible compared to the original S30 chassis. Most times not a problem and kudos to Nissan for providing the sport display.
