Blacked out for sure. Plasti-dip? Doesn't sound very durable. I wonder how much it would cost to have a good paint shop do it.
Plasti dip works fairly well. Just need to put enough coats on it to make it last better. I did my badges on my maxima and they last a while.

One of the most polarizing elements of the New Z has been the silver “Katana Blade” accent adorning both sides of the roof line. For those looking to “fix” this design element, we introduce our carbon fiber Katana Blade!

Our replacement consists of four individual “caps”, and requires you to pry off the four OEM silver “caps” from their plastic backing. Once removed, you attach our replacements via 3M VHB Double Sided Tape.

Please note that the OEM fixtures are attached by a combination of bolts and clips, so care should be taken when removing.
