Z1 Engine Cover with AMS Intercooler

Starting my Fall Mod List. I have the Nismo Engine cover and planned on installing it, but I have learned that the AMS intakes I plan on purchasing are too large for the space that the cover allows.

I like the look of having a cover for the sake of engine dress up... does anyone know if the Z1 engine cover allows enough space for the AMS intercoolers?

I have an AMS intercooler installed in my 2024 performance Z, my performance shop communicated The part you are referring to will not fit. I'm just passing on what they told me. I did not try it myself.

The shop trimmed my z1 engine cover a bit to make it fit with the mishimoto intercoolers. Can't comment on the AMS ones unfortunately

I am fairly certain the AMS intercoolers would require you to keep the engine cover removed once they are installed.

yea, looks like that'll be the case. I saw someone was able to get the mishimoto intercoolers in with the nismo cover, so i figured it was worth asking about the Z1 with AMS considering that it looks like the Z1 may have extra space.
