WTB: factory u-nut clips - undertray shroud

Anyone have a couple of these factory U-Nut Clips that they removed from their 23+ Z? Its for the plastic under shroud.

I stripped it and Nissan wants an arm and a leg for 1.

AutoZone has 'em for a couple bucks. They sell single sizes and variety packs.

Yep, auto parts store.
Fallback if you can’t find the right ones at an auto parts store. McMaster has them. You just need to know the thread, spacing from the bend and general panel thickness.

If it’s just the one, a ‘jury rig’ would be to squeeze the end where the screw exits a bit with pliers or the corner of vise jaws. Not sure how bad it’s stripped, but if you get the screw in there and it feels tight it may have enough thread left to hold.

just a light tapering of end of the barrel. If you squeeze too much the screw won’t be able to work its way through.

Its about 1-2 threads in and it binds. The screws are 1" in length.

Just hoping to find someone who has a few Factory clips laying around

So It’s tight, not loose? If so, and you cant find them easily, it might be cheaper to buy a tap in that size ($10?) and chase the threads.

Its tight. I didnt try to force it to make it worse

Hmmm. Time to learn to use a Tap.
