Why shouldn't I daily a 0w30 oil?

If you’re worried about warranty make sure and get oil changes with regular API oil and then dump it to put your Redline oil in. It’s probably the best oil assuming your engine gets fully hot when you drive, but Nissan will have fun denying your warranty for using it. Use their Pro series if you are worried about warranty.

Meeting the spec as determined by the manufacturer vs being certified by API is the difference in denial or acceptance of your self service. People argue all the time with me but it’s a technicality you can lose you ass from.
