Whistling sound on cold starts under 20°F / -6°C

Anyone else have this weird whirring sound on cold mornings? Only lasts like at most 30 seconds, but once rpms drop it goes away. Went away at the end of the video.

Seems like it originates from the passenger side front of the car.

Yes i have been hearing a bit of a whistle in the same circumstance but only now on these cold mornings.

Fired up Zoe after sitting in the garage all winter. The intermittent whining sounded like belt slippage. Came and went like your video. Not worried about it

It seems that they are the turbos. Too cold. warm up after a minute

I never heard mine do that? In Texas and it is garaged but still gets cold in garage. I think coldest I seen my car was 43*

Bro sounds like a jet getting ready to take off. I changed my exhaust to a street Nissmo Exhaust sounds great gave me 15 more power, but makes a noise in between rpms. I live with sound. Kinda like the sound know. Growing pains...

I have the exact same noise in those cold Canadian mornings. Goes away after half a minute or so. ‘24 performance 6mt. When it happens, dipping the clutch seems to help but not always.

this is normal. cold turbos
