Keep your head up! We made decent power gains bolting up our 3" system to the factory DP. So 3" isn't always for the "max power" crowd.

Do you have dyno results for the track edition? Is there difference in performance numbers w/o the muffler/180 drone canceling?

I'm interested in the AWE cat back but concerned withthis statement:

"Important Fitment Notes:

  • AWE Exhausts have been track-tested and confirmed to fit vehicles equipped with up to 1-inch lowering springs.
"

I haven't found non-coil over lowering springs that are less than or equal to a 1" drop. I'm considering Swift (-1.1") and Eibach (-1.2") springs.

Does anyone here have this combo of AWE + Swift/Eibach springs, or can you comment @Christian/AWE ?

Will there be a Black Friday/cyber Monday sale?

Keep in mind that additional decongestion upstream of our system, future power-add mods, and tuning will also impact the sound profile and volume of an exhaust. We specifically designed our Touring Edition system to kill drone, so that you can focus on those other aspects of your build.

It sounds amazing right out of the box, kills drone, and supports your future modification journey.

Let me revive this. How would the touring pair with Full catted DPs?

I am not sure I will be helping exceptionally with this determination, as we have not tested every variation of aftermarket:

In my experience with other applications this would result in a volume increase, a bit more raw/metallic/crispy frequencies are reintroduced, and the throttle inputs will gain a bit of action.

Our 180 Technology is the best drone control on the market, and it should handle those additions well. However, this is just my best informed prediction. If you choose to go that route DM me your thoughts after installation. 🏁😎👍

"Raw/metallic/crispy" ... Reminds me of the first time I heard a GT3 Lamborghini. Sounded like a handful of drywall screws in a blender.

I would personally argue that the addition of decongestion outside of an axleback or catback system ventures into the realm of "full enthusiast" territory. Anyone who has been to the track or the dragstrip knows the full breadth of what derestricted cars can sound like. Sometimes it's awesome, sometimes....not.

The exhaust suite AWE offers for the Nissan allows for the choice between Track Edition and Touring Edition. The Touring Edition, with the 180 technology, offers a mature, drone free experience. If you want to hear what it sounds like with stock DP vs. aftermarket LDPs that we tested: (LDPs start around the 4 minute mark, also they are tested on both Track and Touring Editions)

How is the Drone without the ANC? is the ANC not cancelling out the Drone? cause it was really bad without the sub plugged in. But maybe that was interfering with it.
I have only turned off the fake exhaust, because I wanted to see the difference. Haven't tried turning off the Noise cancelling yet. But the active exhaust made a big difference. maybe that's the difference? Even at it's worst, it's far from offensive compared to any older sporty car or sports exhaust I have ever owned.
