It's been about 5 months since I bought my ikauzhi yellow Z. i love the car and i love the way it looks, i liked it before buying and even more now.
Everytime i look at it though, i hear it screaming for new wheels. The factory performance wheels are lovely, the actual style of it is beautiful, but frankly a bit boring simply cause they're black IMO.
'm only 18 so I dont have the income to go and buy new wheels. I definitely can save up and eventually buy new wheels but a few days ago the idea of getting my current wheels professionally painted appeared in my ahead.

I really love the way ikazuchi Zs look with either chrome or white wheels.
anyways, to get to the point, i just want some advice on whether i should save up for a bit and get a nice set of wheels or maybe go and paint my factory ones?
thanks!

I normally swap wheels first thing on any new car I get, but I really like the Performance Rays. My choice was to have them powder coated with a polished aluminum look coating, install a set of "Z" center caps, and 20mm spacers all around. Pretty happy with the look.

before you throw money away that you don't even have yet, i strongly suggest you read through some threads on the wheel/suspension forums and other places

Wheel fitment involves many factors
the same wheels in bad spec will look like crap

The RZ34 platform can fit massive wheels - with caveats. There's minimal rear camber adjustment, no front camber adjustment. Both are essential for proper clearance.

Aftermarket wheels on factory ride hide? garbage

To do it correctly involves coilovers, arms, wheels, and tires

I'm also thinking of powder coating my wheels. How much did yours cost and do you have more pictures? They look great
