Well I hope he continues to fight…but I’ve said it before I’ll say it again…

We have had a pandemic, floods, earthquakes, uprisings all around the globe,in Aus we had plagues of mice, and now war.
It really does feel like Armageddon is on its way….and that’s not even taking into consideration the abysmal car problems we are all suffering ?
I just have to hope it turns out the same as in the book “Good Omens” by Terry Pritchett and Neil Gaimen…if you’ve never read it, you should.

There's a Good Omens (IMDB.com) TV series based on it starring Michael Sheen and David Tennant, which was written by Gaiman, but I've no idea if it's any good or how closely it sticks to the book since I've never read / seen either of them ... it looks weird in the trailer.

Yes….I’ve watched it, and it’s ok…but nowhere near as good as the book, and misses on the real humour . I love David Tennant and he plays the part well as does Sheen, but it doesn’t translate that well over to the series and misses quite a lot of details out.
I’ve found this to be a reoccurring theme on any movies/t.v transitions of Terry Pratchetts books unfortunately,

Major flooding is occurring in my city at the moment.

Unfortunately 6 people have died so far in the South East Queensland region.

Their hasn't been any let up in rain for the past 5 days and the forecast shows rain for weeks ahead.

Rain map of Brisbane shows literally only 2 areas that have had less than 100mm (4in) in the last 24hrs. Their are quite a lot of places with 300mm+ (12in+).

I live near the CBD of Brisbane and an very close to the Brisbane River and have seen a lot of debris go past.

Yeah hopefully will stay safe. The street that I live on backs onto the Brisbane River, but I live on the dry side so hopefully it remains dry!
