What octane fuel are you running?

I was out doing some comparisons today between fuel brands. The spread from 87 to 93 on Shell fuel is a difference of 38 cents per litre. At Petro Canada the spread from 87 to 94 is 36 cents. I always liked Shell but I will go with Petro Canada for this car as I get an extra point of octane, 2 cents less, and I also get a savings of 3 cents per litre plus rewards points with Petro Canada. My decision is made, I still like Shell but PC will be in the Z.

Just as info... The choice is yours! They both and see if you notice a difference. Regardless, plan to occasionally run some fuel system cleaner through the gas tank if running a lower quality fuel.

Some internet searches have said it is a top tier fuel supplier in Canada, it is basically Sunoco. We don't have many top brands here - Petro Canada, Shell, and Esso. I think it is top tier.

They used to be but no longer. Sounds like they dropped out of the certification.

A dealership put 87 in my C7 once, and I had to run 91 on a few occasions in both my C7 & C8... Horrible.

That's wild. We don't even have 93 here. I'll have to ask what all the lambos and the SF90 guy do. Just 91.

91 plus a bottle of Octanium should do the trick.
