I plan to do a few HPDEs with my performance on stock suspension and stock wheels. What is the recommended alignment spec? negative camber of 3.0 for the front and 2.5 in the rear? What about toe setting?

With everything stock since our Zs are soft in the corners, i.e. rolls a lot, get the most negative camber possible up front allowable, doubt -3.0 is possible. The same with the rears, most neg camber you can, if can get -2.5 that's plenty. Zero toe up front and touch of positive toe, +1/16, at rear for cornering stability, cuts down on oversteer. You will sacrifice tire wear on streets.

At least get a good laser alignment, no need for corner balance at this time but it's always better for weight distribution if you're anal about it.

Excellent Question. Nismos suspension is tuned differently to Performance. I plan on keeping the wheel /suspension setup stock for now.

If I swap to better tires & want to tweak the alignment, some friends have said “leave everything stock” the setup is fine. But I’m not so sure…. Does anyone have experience with better Nismo alignment settings?

I see that max front camber may be -1.5. Do you suggest -1.5 for the front and -2.5 for the rear? max caster of 6, zero toe front, and +1/16 for the rear?

If front max is -1.5 then the rear should be no more than -2. The toe settings look good.

You don’t want too much camber variance on stock suspension or balance will be thrown off. Then work from there to tune if you need to.

Not sure the answer to this, but but my 24 Performance ATE the rear tires and they were down to the cords on the inside of both at 15,000 miles. Had to put new shoes on her and get an alignment... they said the camber was too aggressive by a little and adjusted something by 25(?).

Went with Nexens because I daily mine... MUCH better grip on the road, particularly in rain.
