Could you elaborate on this? I go out of my way to get Sunoco only. I thought it was the best fuel since many racers use it. I don't even remember where I read that...
Sunoco pays to put stickers on their cars.

Use one of the brands I mentioned back-to-back and you'll notice the difference. Pay attention to smoothness of idle, too.

I do something in Georgia many might find hilarious. In my neighborhood I have a Chevron and a Shell, which is my two favorites, but the Chevron has an e85 tank. If I need a 1/4 tank (4 gallons) I do 3.75 gallons of Shell/Chevron 93, and 0.25 of the e85.

If I need 1/2 tank I do 7.5/.5
3/4 I do 11.25/.75
Full 15/1

tank is 16.2

I basically try to do a e15 Chevron or Shell which is 94 blended since I know e15 is supposed to be safe on stock system.

Nothing wrong with splash blending! I did the same with my Corvettes to get up to 95-octane!

Meijer 93. It’s Top Tier now and their 93 is consistently cheapest in town. Win/win. I don’t even shop around anymore. That’s my place.
