Thats how its done. The film is shrunk and shaped before applying on the inside.

So, how the hell are people on YouTube, that keep referring to the Z as a 400Z, getting vehicles before us?

I understand some of those videos are just cars provided by Nissan, but that Z that was turned into a drift car, and this Z appear to be owned by someone other than Nissan.....

Following up on that, imagine a press Z getting borrowed for a day or two at a time and dudes do little things each time it's checked out.

The Z comes back to Nissan, it's got window tint, different tires, an off-the-shelf map, it runs e85, makes 500whp after being gone for six months.

Car and Driver checks out said press car, it blitzes a Mustang Mach 1, a Supra, and a BMW M2 because it's modded to the gills, yet still comes in 4th place because Car and Driver doesn't like the windshield wipers it came with.
