I want to perform a brake fluid flush. The last time I did this was two years ago. Last time I checked reservoir the color of the fluid appears the same.

Question is:
If the color hasn't changed, how does one know how much fluid to flush out of each caliper? I asked the robot this question and this is the answer it gave me (which makes sense but I don't know if the amounts are accurate):

  1. Rear Right: Extract 300 ml total (150 ml inner, 150 ml outer).
  2. Rear Left: Extract 250 ml total (125 ml inner, 125 ml outer).
  3. Front Right: Extract 150 ml total (75 ml inner, 75 ml outer).
  4. Front Left: Extract 100 ml total (50 ml inner, 50 ml outer).
Does this check out or not?

Seems like it could be acceptable? If you're switching to something like Castrol SRF, you will want to do more than this to ensure you eliminate all the DOT4 fluid.

Also, from the 370z the bleed order is RR→ FL → RL → FR, so I have been doing this for the RZ34 with the Negative battery terminal disconnected.

This post is in the Marketplace right now.
