I have a feeling this thing is going to be a significant step up from the RS. For one thing, it should be lighter than the almost-3500 lb RS by a few hundred pounds - the current Corolla hatch is only 3000 lbs. And it will be able to send more of its power to the rear wheels. Plus it's got a sweet rev-matching manual which the RS never had.

At the least it will certainly be more livable on the street, from all accounts the RS had a very stiff suspension setup. Definitely interested if the Z doesn't pan out for me, joined the forum. I just hope they do something drastic to that ugly front fascia on the standard hatch.
