I'm just sitting here wondering how you have so many empty bottles of Blanton's, so many bottles of Weller's, shit, I can't even find that damn 13 year Russell's.My Wife designed my garage My only stipulation was a in-floor lift. My garage was built about 4 years ago. It is my haven from all things stressful in this life. We call it “Z Garage”. Only wish I had made it a little bigger.
Oh yeah that Whiskey stuff. Ive been enjoying it for 15 years. Used to pay $35 for a bottle of Blantons. Now it’s a crazy hyper everyone is doing it Market I ve been lucky finding most of these. I never buy secondary either all fair retail.I'm just sitting here wondering how you have so many empty bottles of Blanton's, so many bottles of Weller's, shit, I can't even find that damn 13 year Russell's.
I wish I got into bourbon years ago. It's a fairly recent venture of mine (not even a year yet).Oh yeah that Whiskey stuff. Ive been enjoying it for 15 years. Bourbon bad…..very very bad memories of bourbon on a night outI wish I got into bourbon years ago. It's a fairly recent venture of mine (not even a year yet).
I've seen a neighbor use these...Great thread, awesome seeing these garages as I'm redoing mine. I haven't owned a Z before, one issue I've got with my place is a steep driveway. Do the Z's tend to catch gutters a fair bit? Has anybody got any good solutions for driveway ramps etc?
You mean to tell me y'all don't all drink Foster's down under?Bourbon bad…..very very bad memories of bourbon on a night out
I’ll stick to light liquors in particular vodka, no hang over issues there
On another note for the Aussie guys, I’m affected to a mixed drink by Billsons. They are a small micro brewery in VIC ….really the alcohol is low but they are super tasty.
I don’t know a single person who does…not even my 20 year old son or his matesYou mean to tell me y'all don't all drink Foster's down under?
Haha it does, you can clean, clean, prep and etch the surface as best as you can. But, over time it does wear out and come up. The biggest issue with epoxy is the hot tire pickup or flaking. The first photo I posted was of what was kinda left of my epoxy floor (hardware store kit crap) I did in 2011.Wait, epoxy comes up?! - There goes that idea lol, I need to look into racedeck.
I have a 3 car tandem, nothing fancy.
My Q50S, Wife's Maxima Platinum, Jeep CJ-7 (for sale)
Having a "Big Boy" garage has been a longtime dream of mine (like the other garages posted in this thread).....epoxy floors, a lift, quality tools and the proper cabinets to put them in lolHaha it does, you can clean, clean, prep and etch the surface as best as you can. It held up pretty well considering I've dismantled cars, engines, built stuff throughout the years
It's not hard to re-coat, just wash it really well, and maybe run an orbital sander over the surface to give the new coat something to bite into
