I spent most of the day today driving (to the DMV, then to work, then home) with SynchroRev Match disabled. It felt a lot more natural. So much so that I'm not sure I'll turn it back on. Perhaps this poll has been done before, but I ask: SRM: off or on?

Both for me. On streets let the electronics do its smooth job, On. When on track, Off for more manual control.

I typically drive with SRM on in my 370Z, as it’s pretty well-implemented system, perfect rev matches every single time, and very smooth.

I don’t have an issue driving with it off either, though for me I’m used to rev matching in my other (older) MT car with a mechanical throttle; The Z’s “drive-by-wire” throttle is pretty frustrating to use for me because of the non-linear (or “dampened”) response with the stock throttle map, vs a cable-actuated throttle that revs proportional to pedal input.

SRM on for 90% of the time as the 370z was my daily. if I had the new Z now, I'd probably go 50/50 to get back in the habit of heel-toe and rev matching manually.

I would leave it on, the robots do a far better job almost 100% of the time. Much kinder to the gearbox.
