SCOOP! The customized edition Fairlady Z many of you have been waiting for will be available this fall in the US as a Special Heritage Edition. This Z will play off the heritage of the 55 year anniversary. Very limited production and dealers will get them based off of how many Z's they have sold. A similar process to the inital proto roll out. No pricing yet but I'm going to guess around 60k? This Z gets the front bumper the wheels and even the fender extensions from the original customized edition concept. Again limited production so if you want one I would be proactive and contact your dealer early. The good news is these parts will likely be available as add on's for future model years if you miss out on getting the actual special edition

Dealers who sold 10 or more Zs get 3 6 or more get 2 and others may get 1 depending on total Nissan sales

even though it sounds strange nissan as of right now is refering to this Z as a 2024 even though it will be on sale in the fall.

there is a plan to offer these parts as ad ons for the 2025 model

from a marketing standpoint I can see the reason for this heritage edition commemorating 55 years of the Z as a counter to the 45th anniversary Supra. however that supra was priced similar to the current NISMO. I expect this Z to start just under 60K before color options ect. If a Performance Z is around 52,970 before options again It feel like this Z could be positioned 58,970 or something. Thats just a guess as the proto spec was 3K more without any different equipment. This has new wheels bumper fenders ect and there was already a overall price increase for 2024.

It's a new color that is a tribute to 918. The color code is ECD

Hopefully they learned their lesson on the Nismo. But then again this one is going to be a limited edition.
