I gotta double check, but I believe I bought the rear differential carrier off this car. It had around 1900 miles on it. It has a new home on my 2024 RZ34 sport.

Thanks. Everyone has their story when they bought their Z. Mine started bad when a dealer local to me tried to sneakily upcharge me on a Everest white, performance, manual, with Blue interior. I decided to buy the sport version and just customize it. It's at the upholstery shop now getting cobalt blue leather.

How about that biohazard one? Is that blood? What’s the story with that one??

Not sure how I am just seeing these pictures and comments, but this is true. I hope all those involved in the accident walked out, period. The blood on the vin sticker is crazy...

Unfortunately I think you're about to see mine show up on this thread. A couple weeks ago I had a driver pace me on the highway revving like he wanted to race - in heavy rain! Tried to ignore him. Next thing I know I he was perpendicular cutting across in front of me at 60 mph. Lift-off oversteer into hydroplane I guess. It's his fault and his insurance is paying for it, but it still looks like a total. Guess I'm about to be in the market for a Z again.

I have a theory that a certain number of car crashes are caused by the kind of car you drive. It wasn't one of those "oh if only I was there a few seconds later" kind of thing since the same thing could have happened somewhere else (I'm a little paranoid now to be honest). I somehow made it to my 30's without being in a car crash and it's a bit shocking how unavoidable things gets when people lose complete control.

I still love the car, and I will replace mine, but the revving and attention can be a bit much. The cars are still too rare. Nissan needs to get more out there asap.

Also - that white Z looks just like mine but on the driver's side instead. Maybe similar story with that one?

I know this comment is waaaaaaay late, but I'm relatively new to the forum. I haven't even had my Z for 1 month and I've almost been hit by other drivers 2x. It's crazy.

I lost my 2007 Z33 (with only 6k to a drunk driver on NYE). Totaled when he ran a red light and clipped me. I spun out and hit a high curb that took off both front wheels and dropped the engine. The guy kept on driving like if nothing happened. I was lucky a "passer by" saw everything unfold and caught a piece of the runners LP.

How did you get the diff? Was it from a junkyard?

I bought it off eBay. Graded as and "A" (condition wise). Very low miles, so I bought it and swapped it myself in my garage.
