I don’t think NA market cars have the hood lifter systems; seems to be a safety reg in AU & EU markets only.

I'm pretty sure the guy with the popped "hood" riser is in the US. We'd call them "bonnet" risers down here

First time I’ve personally heard of this as standard equipment on a USDM car. Didn’t think they were required here so seems odd they would include them
