Hi Everyone,
I just bought a new 2025 Z. I noticed that when launching in first gear, when I’m close to fully releasing the clutch pedal, I hear a momentary rubbing or scraping sound. The sound is less or even zero if I launch slowly (not revving much), but if im revving even slightly more I hear it. It doesn’t last long - maybe a half second. It’s also not super loud - but definitely noticeable to me.
There is no sound when going into any other gears, no sound when driving etc. just that launch into first gear.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is it something that might have to do with breaking in the car or should I take it to the dealership to get it checked out.
Thanks!
