Rear back up light.

Had someone point out that my brand new z only had one back up light come on when I was reversing. Just took delivery two weeks ago, so likely an assembly mistake, but a reminder to get someone to look at your lights when you back up to make sure they are installed correctly.

Nope this is correct as i can see you are from canada. Canadian spec z only 1 reverse light

The other side is a rear fog light. The US market doesn't have the rear fog light.

Not sure how it works in AU or other markets. Anyone know?

Huh, you all may have saved me some trouble. I looked all over to see if maybe we just had one light, but every photo I saw from the back showed two lights.

Anyone in the US market install this bad boy? I installed the "4th" brake light on my 370 nismo but had plenty of YT vids to make it pretty painless.

I had the same concern when parking my car in the garage after buying it. Somebody told me a light was out. Does anybody even pay attention to the rear fog lights? I get more people asking me why a brake light is stuck on when we see one of those cars.

Some cars do this better than others. My wife had an SQ5 that had *two* backup lamps and *two* rear fog lights. That probably allowed Audi to have fewer Canada/US deltas. Maybe Nissan isn't designing with that in mind.

I didn’t know rear fog lights were a thing. First thought was “Who drives around backward, especially in fog?”

Took me a few secs, but i figured it out on my own.
