Here in Arizona it did rain, a few hours last night (car was outside) today I see mother nature has opened a pack of crayons on my PS4s... I've got about 2k miles on the tires (no rain time). 3 of 4 are green-ish blue. Is this a normal chemical process or did I buy the coolest set ever? lol

I added fresh tap water to one... No change! I would be ok with additional colors if they were more pronounced, maybe a bit brighter lol guess I'll be scrubbing this weekend

Since you mentioned rain, I was thinking more along the lines of you having driven on an wet/oily road and picked up an oily film. I don't think Michelin designed the tires with color.

Yea that's gotta be it... I didn't drive in the wet. But I'm sure months of "road oils" is now showing it self after a fresh coat of rain water

That rainbow on the "Michelin" is cool AF. If it was uniform, I would go show off at a car meet

It might be tire shine. I always tell the installers to leave it off when getting a new set of tires.

I think you need to hit 88 miles per hour and see what happens.

That shine would have had to be added back in Feb. before shipping. My wheels came pre-monted without any coating on the wheels... Hopefully nothing on the tires

Its probably just a layer of mold release that just happens to be the right thickness to create a diffraction pattern. If it is mold release, it should come off with just dish soap, water and gentle scrubbing.
