The maintenance schedule lists in periodic maintenance "Propeller Shaft" - Is this the drive shaft? What would the maintenance entail? On every car I've ever owned it is maintained on an as needed basis - if you get vibration or something, fix it. Otherwise no periodic maintenance. What am I missing here? Does it have grease zerts of something?

Common in other countries to call the drive shaft a propeller shaft, or “prop shaft” (knowledge thanks to a lot of hours watching Top Gear).
The u-joints most likely have grease fittings. Not always in the same place, but same or similar to below. Not sure if the slip joint has one.

On most cars the slip joint is on the tranny end and is designed to get lubrication from the tranny fluid. I love the design. Didn't know what a great idea it was until I had a shaft drive motorcycle that doesn't have this feature and you have to disassemble the whole back end every 40K miles to grease this slip joint.

if there is a yoke on the end of the slip joint, that would be a good place for a grease fitting (In the crotch of the yoke) maybe some do that, idk. Yeah, i didn't know that, and agree, about the slip joint and lubrication from the transmission.

All this talk about tranny fluid and crotches…ugh…I think I need to go crank up my chainsaw and fell a tree or two.
