The oem shift knob was no joke. I knew it was bad but oh man….
To anyone thinking they want to change their shift knob, just be sure you want to because not only is it difficult but shortly after beginning you’ll probably mess up your oem shift knob to the point where you can’t go back.
I decided to just sacrifice my oem knob, I’ll attach some pictures of just how bad the damage was and also of my new shift knob
For anyone wondering, I use two pliers: one at the base and one to twist.
my friends heat gun was my best friend.. I’d definitely recommend it. I’d also recommend doing this with another set of hands that can help you throughout the process
