Sorry this happened to you man. Time to invest in an always-on motion sensing dash cam. They stay on all the time and only record when it detects motion so it won't drain your battery. Not even a 1000 miles on it and someone has already backed in to it.

Just a reminder that people suck and don’t care about others things. I watched them do while at DQ and they just drove off as I was running out to stop them.
just keep a look out
Oh god, I am having flashbacks to my days on the Corvette Forums where everyone selling there Vette said it was "Rare", "One of a kind!" and thought they could justify $10k more for their asking price because they added chrome bezels around every indent the car hashe may be the only person in the world with that combo. I definitely don’t mind being a 1 of 1. But this car stays with me until I die or move to the next gen GTR.he may be the only person in the world with that combo. "1 of 1, I know what I got!"
Find a quality body shop and let them match the paint properly, a lot of shops don’t report to carfax, but if they do, just keep photos of the damage with date stamps, when you sell it you can show the buyer why it was refinished. (I have 35yrs in the auto repair industry and we have clients that do this all the time)Thank you all for responding. Even my wife who was with me was really frustrated.
I'm not even really sure how to go about repairing it. I don't want to do an insurnace thing because than it'll have a mark on its carfax, and I worry about this particular paint color not coming out right if I were to have it repaired at a body shop.
This one is fortunately pre-painted.Find a quality body shop and let them match the paint properly, a lot of shops don’t report to carfax, but if they do, just keep photos of the damage with date stamps, when you sell it you can show the buyer why it was refinished.
