I think the idea is that a luxury car to be more "classy" or muted and a sports car to be more "exciting" or vibrant.Even the Q50 comes with a cinnamon like tint, easier on the eyes than orange.
That's actually orange not tan. And I believe they also had a white, and red interiors from factory as well. Red came with the 40th anniversary editions.Funny enough Nissan offered it on the 370Z early on but discontinued it at some point. I'd love to get this interior on the new Z as well.
By that time the Nismo might be in the mix, more hype and very likely more price hikes. Nissan has to somehow curb dealer markups. This is a great thread !
For me :
Dislike: the fact that it will be almost impossible to get a new Z for at least 2 years. Demand for cars is at an all time high and all the chip shortages already means supply will remain behind . Add to that dealer markups, no pre-order to get the exact color and specs you want, etc etc and it's very very unlikely I'll be able to get my ideal performance trim in blue / blue, at least for years anyways.
Maybe thats a good thing for those of us who don't want a Nismo?By that time the Nismo might be in the mix, more hype and very likely more price hikes. Nissan has to somehow curb dealer markups.
An idea I had earlier today but just now having a chance to get on here and post - something like this might help as a happy medium, no? https://www.xpel.com/shop/headlight-protection-filmReal glass headlights/covers, that’s a valid good one!
