  1. Z's in the winter?

I have a 370 but I have been using performance winter tires as we don't get a ton of snow here in mid-Missouri. You've got to take it easy but I have daily driven sports cars (Miata, 350Z, 370Z) in the winter for decades with no issues.
  2. Driving Z in the winter?

I drove this past winter on Vredestein Wintrack Performance Winter tire and it was great. In mid-Missouri we don't always have a ton of snow and the performance winter tires did a great job on the cold, dry pavement and were workable in 2-3 inches of snow. They even weren't horrible when it got...
  3. (Hagerty) How fast is the new $50k Nissan Z? — New Z vs Supra vs Mustang Mach-1

They went back and forth with package configurations on the 370. I bet next year there will be an equivalent "sport" package to the 370 at around $44K.
  4. Savagegeese says 2023 Nissan Z is amazing

I think he means vehicles after the official launch so they can spend more time and do direct comparisons.
  5. U.S. Pricing Possibly Leaked in 2023 Nissan Z Review: $40K Base, $50K Performance, $53K Proto

I’m pretty sure the price difference from a base 370 and sport touring 370 was around $9k so the price difference doesn’t surprise me. It is essentially the same difference in options here. I was also hoping for a max of $45k but I won’t be able to afford it for a few years anyway.
  6. Motor Trend - Taking a Closer Look at the 2023 Nissan Z, It's Newer Than Expected

My guess would be the suspension geometry changes they made.
  7. ORANGE "CUSTOMIZED PROTO" NEW FAIRLADY Z EXHAUST SOUND

I agree! That said, that Millennium Jade mock-up was pretty sweet as well.
  8. 30K base price announced? [Update: correction by Nissan - starting price remains around $40k]

Seems like the E at the end probably means Estimated.
  9. 9AT Nissan Z will have Sport mode w/ active muffler exhaust!

The Veloster N has it. I really like the SRM in my 370. I went back and forth a lot but I'm not great at heel-toe so I decided it's easiest to just keep it on...lol. I should probably just buy an. automatic. o_Oo_O
  10. New Z as first manual car?

Funny story, a car salesman taught me to drive manual on a test drive and I bought the car...lol.
  11. Q&A with Nissan US Director of Corporate Communications, Dan Passe - Submit your questions for discussion!

I disagree and think this thread is pointless. No amount of "demands" will change the schedule for which Nissan is going to release information regarding this car. My guess is we will get much more information next month (February).
  12. Z vs Red Sport cooling

The larger number was reported to be a typo, no increase in displacement for the 3.0L Z vs Q.
  13. Nissan Z - The Price is Right Edition / Expected pricing model?

It's said badly, but I think they're saying that Rosewood Metallic will have an added cost as will all two tone colors.
  14. Nissan Z VR30DDTT engine cut model B roll

AMS is looking at 1000HP https://www.nissanzclub.com/forum/threads/ams-performance-discusses-2023-nissan-z-1-000-hp-goals.474/
  15. Sport Z Spotted With Black Interior & Smaller Infotainment Screen

Yeah, the previous person said they were 5'12" so I joined the party...lol. I'm 6'1" with a torso that puts me at a similar seated height to some 6'4-6'6 people I've known.
  16. Sport Z Spotted With Black Interior & Smaller Infotainment Screen

I'm 5'13" and don't have any issues getting in, though, I have a long torso and have to "scootch" down so I can have enough headroom inside.
  17. Would you buy an electric or hybrid Z?

I like to drive in a sporty manner and I like the idea of not drawing attention to myself with loud sounds. That said, the exhaust on my car sounds pretty sweet when downshifting.
  18. 2023 Nissan Z Official Release! Specs, Pics, Videos, Wallpapers

I think the 10mm wider rear tires for the Nismo was mostly just a way to have one more difference between that and the lower models. I can't image that the traction differences between 275 and 285 are significant. I like that they made the front tires wider for, presumably, better turn-in, and...
  19. Q&A with Nissan US Director of Corporate Communications, Dan Passe - Submit your questions for discussion!

With a launch in Spring 2022, I don't think we should expect any additional information until February, or after.
