I had a local fabricator make this up, we can get a few more done if there's interest. Probably around 150AUD plus postage, depending on numbers.

As you can see the plate is lower than OEM and leaves the top two rows of the grille completely open. It uses the same holes as the OEM plate holder to secure to the body. I'll be painting mine black this weekend, can get some more pics of it then.

HMU if interested, the more the merrier!

That's a lot better. Well done.

Might be interested. I'll keep an eye on this thread

I like the way he's angled it downwards with the grill

Painted it today (I am terrible at this seemingly simple skill) but it was fun and looks alright

next ones will have slight changes:
Larger access holes to affix to the body of the car
Smaller welded on tab that doesn't interfere with the holes in the top corner

They are made of aluminum and weigh about 300g

Big question. Does the DMV or better yet, local law enforcement recognize this as a valid plate?

Nice job, I opted for the easy way, just trimmed the original black plastic down slightly smaller than the plate size and remounted, no extra hardware required

I have a couple sitting next to me, and mine is on the car. What photo are you looking for exactly? Maybe I can take one for you
