Yeah but it seems to be an advertisement”this car won’t last long hurry in” what happened to all the cars that were actually ordered ?‍♀
Im sure there is probably going to be a cutoff of some sort to production for 2023 units. And im sure they dont give a damn about the people who they literally stole $1000 deposits for them to invest in somewhere else to make money elsewhere, they are literally encouraging people to take refunds back

In Australia the dealers have been told that if a person passes in a car, that it goes back to head office and distributed to the next in line..that’s why I felt a bit bad for my dealer when I cancelled my order, because to be fair they haven’t done anything wrong, and have been following all the rules set out to them..it’s all Nissan Corporate.

However it’s clear there are some dealers NOT doing the right thing. Reports of customers being given an option to change colours when we were originally told if you do that you go to the back of the line, and that colour seemingly one of the more popular colour and over 1500 orders ….im pretty sure there would be someone waiting on the colour they are offering up to swap in that line of 1500 somewhere
So what’s truly going on and why are both Nissan Australia (in your case Canada) and Nissan global turning a blind eye.
This has been an absolute cluster from the start, and although the Z is not a huge seller, I’m pretty sure if asked by others most of us would say…never again will I deal with Nissan. So instead of this car being the light that brings customers back to Nissan…I’m afraid it’s done completely the opposite. Not because of the car, but simply due to the roll out

When I got my deposit back, there is a new guy at my dealership, he’s only been there a month, and said I was at least the 4/5th person to get their money back in just that time that he knew of…could be more
What a stuff up

Such a shame because it’s such a good car, and different to almost anything on the market

It's pretty crazy : on one side I have my dealer who tells me that he's not sure when/if he will be able to deliver me my Z... and on the other side, there was another dealer only 40kms away which had a manual performance (like mine except the colour) to sell due to a cancellation.
I call this dealer too late, someone had already bought the car.

It's insane...

And my dealer pretends that he's the biggest in Canada and will be the one with the most allocations...
(Right now he only had one car which was a proto for one of his clients, car in the showroom until the end of the winter)

My original deposit dealer also said they’re the biggest one. They’re all full of crap

Some times I can peep their stock numbers, and decipher it to match the VIN serial. If they're still the early numbers, they've just listed those demos they got at the end of 2022. I find it hard to believe the cars that have "just landed" aren't spoken for. We've got a back log of reservations to fill first. And some of them look to be like.. a dec 2022 demo a dealer has moved to another firm to sell for the 15-20k markup, as used to make a quick buck. Most of the ones on Auto Trader have been sitting for a long time haha

Edit: There's one in Surrey BC that just showed up as "used" with only 24 km on it. Blue on Blue (my spec) for $76,000. Serial number is 310538, so it's another early production car. One they or someone has been sitting on for a long while before listing. Which goes to show me, there is still no new cars coming in. They're just starting to list their demos/single early allocations. Which is bullshit, because they've been sitting on these cars for so long and have been sitting around for almost a year since production, or longer.

When we see VIN's in the upper 3100s/3200s, we know we're finally seeing some newer deliveries/production units

Edit 2: Peeped another, Northland Nissan just listed a proto spec for 63k, Originally listed 10 hours ago as "IN TRANSIT", 3 hours later re-posted as "PENDING SALE" ; VIN is 310302 :/

those ones u listed are old. As far as i know the dealer im at got the sport version which i told you guys about is the most new one as to date. my dealer got a proto for the demo so the blue sport they just got must be new. i might head over just to see the seiran blue cuz i havent seen the color in person yet, and i will take pics of the vin/door sticker production

the vin at my dealer JN1BZ4AH7PM311506

I have spoken to my dealer the other day. As I’m trading in my Q50 for the new Murano Midnight Edition. From what one of the managers said, there is another set of cars coming in. But it will be another 1 per dealer again. He preordered one too but still waiting.

I absolutely love this one

" Prices do not include sales taxes, licensing, other options, installation, administration and other dealer program fees. "

"Total Package starts at $4185. The packages are applied to all new, in-stock units. "

" If you'd prefer to factory order and customize your package, please let the Sales Manager know. "

Other than the service package, 90% of that is included in the Freight charge in Canada. But, they're making it seem like you're getting a great deal!

so it seems from looking at that spreadsheet for the usa market, only a handful of VIN's are missing which i assume should be canadian models, and either are sitting at port or in transit or on the next boat. so far i only found 2 new canadian serials 311506, 311581. (also some coulda been sold as well hard to pinpoint how many are actually coming in) looks like not many will b coming in, and closing in on 2023 production cut off soon.

Another one landed in nanaimo. https://www.nissanofnanaimo.com/vehicle-details/new-2023-nissan-z-performance-nanaimo-bc-id-51876550

another in penticton nissan sold(first allocation blue sport)

courtenay nissan also got a performance allocated. 78k price ???

Campus nissan(first allocation protospec) just got a white sport trim

No word on preorders or not otherwise they wouldnt be listing them. Serial 311498

honestly they might be throwing another 1 units across canada again and all hope is lost. The trend im seeing is the first allocation they got was a sport trim and now second was performance. My dealer got proto, second is sport and vice versa
