I preordered last year during the dealership one. I only msged this on autotrader because they listed it as a sport model at performance price so i got curious

That's dumb, hopefully our preorders start rolling in here soon, my dealer said they shouldn't be too far behind. They got an Everest white one in last week, going on Friday to check it out. Maybe they're just kinda being greedy because they know the order bank is closed, I don't even know if they can sell their demo yet

was curious to why the sport model was $10000 over so i msged them about it and this was the response . This is how they bypass the alleged illegal markups

$10K isn't too bad.

My dealer said he expects more Zs to come in in January. Nothing mentioned about waiting to sell in Spring, in fact I saw a yellow manual performance Z sold outside the GTA for MSRP (according to the salesperson I called). The listing was on autotrader for a few days at 63k before taxes , but he said it sold immediately after being put it. Car was still in the showroom when I spoke to him.

Shouldn't that car be for a preorder though?

This is my dealerships demo. Had a good chat with them this afternoon; without being able to discuss details pertaining to specifics, he kind of agreed we are all pretty much on the money when it comes to the reason for the delays... He affirmed that each dealership gets one demo before the rest of the deliveries for the preorders/reservations come in. Now that those early "issues" have been fully resolved, the wheels are turning, and they are being shipped out. Shouldn't be long now.

That’s what I mention earlier. Lots of sales managers of different dealers have told me. So, this makes me finally believe what they’re saying. They seem to be on the same page on this one

Yep, and when it comes to that pesky MT stop sale. It sounded like my dealer wasn't really allowed to talk about it. He told me flat out he was unable to comment on the specifics. But, we both agreed in the end, "now that the manual transmissions are being replaced" things should fall into place pretty quick lol They were surprised I knew as much as I did about the specific details, that's why I think he was able to have a little quiet chat on the down low

Just spoke to my dealer on Vancouver Island.They have a proto on display that cannot be sold.I asked them about getting the car for MSRP as mine is a pre order, they said if the car is delivered during the winter months Nissan has to sell the car with winter tires and winter mats which add a couple of thousand dollars to the price.Never heard of such a thing.I wonder what they will do for summer delivery of cars.They also could care less whether you cancel your order or not.

On the other forums.. we may have one of the if not the first customer z delivery in Canada congratulations to this very lucky guy! The dealer also has their demo, and his order from February 3rd just rolled in

Long story short my preorder has not been assigned a vin yet from what i am told. Also asked if i wanted alternate options other than my build if they are available for an earlier delivery he will contact me. Nothing about demos or what not, i believe they are for sale (dealer allocations)

It seems the demo theory is kind of out of the books. They are preordered/first on the list kind of what the usa is doing. Another person in canada has took delivery

Yeah crazy. The order I put in was through the dealership network to Nissan Canada at the end of January, just before the reservation window went live. My dealership said they didn't order the Everest White, it is just what they got. They have put in about 5-6 z car orders so far (small town) one of which is a proto spec. They were super jealous of another dealer fairly close that got the blue on blue they wanted haha. The first one I posted was a guy in small town west of Ottawa, ON I believe

Now listed as $20,000 over i guess since its in butt fuck no where of Campbell river but i hope these guys dont get any more allocations

Those add on protection was always optional. They can’t force you to take it
