About roughly $56,124 for the Coupe and $61,569 for the Proto spec Z in USD.

Yep, absolutely not worth it at that point. Might as well just the Supra.

So using conversion calculator... $56k USD for a performance trim??? This can't be right.

Check the press release price which is 73k AUD. The builder price has other fees attached to it (I think). The asterisk at the bottom of the page explains it.

im not 100% sure but i think they have extra cost added into the price like japan has 10% tax added to the list price, which when i did the perf price - 10% did come to 45k

The 73300, is the cost of just the car, goods and services tax (10%) and the luxury car tax we have here in Aus (around 2k on this car), the extra is dealer delivery ( set by Nissan Aus so even across all dealerships) a years registration to be on the roads and stamp duty and shipping. Being from WA out stamp duty is the steepest, as we have to pay an extra amount to cover injuries for people who are severely disabled in car accidents when the perpetrator doesn’t have insurance.
WAs price on road is as mentioned 81879 …but if you want any colour other than rosewood..well that will cost extra too.
So my yellow non Proto is close to 83400 ( if I remember right)

As I said you guys shouldn’t stress yet, this is pretty normal by Aus standards. Cheapest Supra will set you back 92k

So that 73k is with the 10% then?

So what is the price ratio to say, the last Australian 370Z Nismo? We can apply that same ratio to the US and CAD Nismo prices to get some idea of what this thing is going to cost here.

Edit: according to https://www.carsales.com.au/new-cars/coupe/nissan/370z/nismo/, the Nismo 2021 driveaway price in Australia was AU$67,771. The $80,092 driveaway price cited in the PR above for what amounts to the Z Performance trim is 118% of that Nismo price. So applying that ratio to the last CAD Nismo MSRP of $49,998 we get an estimated Canadian performance trim MSRP of $59,087. If it's that high, I won't be the only one waving bye-bye.
