Nismo Z Paddle Shifters Occasionally Not Working

Has anyone seen issues with paddle shifting and the car not responding? On road course full throttle, going straight, shifting from 3rd to 4th, and 4th to 5th the car would refuse to shift a couple times a lap. I tried shifting earlier and later but still kept seeing the issue. There was no sound or vibration (although it would be hard to hear) when I pressed the paddle it just completely ignored the input. 100% stock car.

I realize this happens to me as well if I don't pull the paddle all the way through its entire travel or if the revs are too high to where it ignores a downshift. My Supra did this same thing but only with the high rev downshift ignore, but on that car you didn't have to pull the paddle the entire travel.

Not pulling them enough is a possibility I'll keep an eye on, the other might be overheating which I forgot to monitor. Downshifting I understand the car can be picky but up-shifting at 6k is weird to have an issue. Came from a supra also, never happened to me in that car.

I have had the same thing happen and hard redlined because of it. You have to be very intentional when upshifting under heavy throttle for sure!
